Breakfast for Dinner

Friday my roomates invited people over to hang out at our appartment. We were on our way to the grocery store when one of the girls, Savanah, said she wanted to get rid of her extra eggs, so we decided to have breakfast for dinner. We decided not to have just any breakfast for dinner, but Dad's breakfast for dinner. So some one bought bacon, another person got cheese, and other people were willing to pitch in with some food that they already had, like the eggs. So we got home from the grocery store and I started the bacon in my small frying pan (which seems too small when making food for six people, but it was just meant for me so its ok). It is supprising how far bacon grease pops. So one package of bacon later, I cook up Dad's potato, ham, and cheese, scrambled eggs.

It was a wonderful reminder that Dad loves me, not to mention it was delicious. So thank you Dad for taking time out of your day to tell me how to make this wonderful dish.

So, while we ate we watched a movie. After the movie ended we had a lot of fun messing around, dancing, rolling down the hill, and watching EFY videos on YouTube. I've had a great start to my college life.

Hope all is well with everyone at home (or not at home).

Twilight is coming out in 11 days!!!

So, I went to my friends birthday party this last Saturday and it was Twilight themed. We had a fun time hanging out and all the girls were jealous that I had made Jolene a Twilight birthday card (apparently I have some of Jocelyn's creativity) and they all made me promise to make them each their own twilight birthday card for their birthdays (how can you resist when a room full of teenage girls mob you to make you promise something?). Making the card I searched the Internet for pictures and I thought that I would have to search for movie and book pictures, however the first eight pages had only one picture of a sunset. Of course the most awesome gift that Jolene got was one of the original movie posters (as in with the original release date). It seems to me that Harry Potter is afraid of Twilight because they postponed their release date.
I am looking forward to the movie coming out and am planning on seeing it with some of my friends on Friday.

For anyone who might be wondering, I did go on the date with Adam (and yes it was a month ago today) and had a great time. We got Chinese food and went over to the Granite football game(we lost) and hung out with my friends (after I performed with Choir). After the game we went back to my house and played phase ten with my parents.

I hope everyone can forgive me for not letting you know what has been going on in my life lately and I hope that everyone is well
